New Year’s Day

Have a very happy new year in Cagliari: you can choose among three beautiful squares where there will be fun and live music ’til mornig!

Probably my choice will be Piazza Santa Croce…Non Soul Funky are very funny and the view from the Bastione is wonderful!

Take a beer in the old quarter of Marina

If you want to drink a beer listening to rock music then Covo Art Cafè is the pub for you!
Here you will find the ideal atmosphere to know local people and to spend some relaxing hours chatting and drinking good beer.

Covo Art Cafè is located in the heart of Marina, the historical quarter of the harbour.
During the weekends this zone is closed to cars and becomes the centre of nightlife: beyond  Covo Art Cafè you will find many other pubs and typical restaurants.

Take a walk in the historic quarter of Castello

A sunny sunday morning in the warm autumn of Cagliari can be the ideal moment to take a walk through the fascinating alleys of the historic quarter of Castello.

From the panoramic terraces you can enjoy the marvellous skyline of the city that ends in the Mediterranean sea.

You can reach Castello using two lifts located along Viale Regina Elena, just in the heart of the shopping centre.

 

The first tip

You can find one of my favourite pizza of the city in Piazza San Domenico: Fantasma 1 and Fantasma 2 are two nice restaurants (same owner) where you will eat excellent pizza for less than 10 €…if you can’t choose between two types of pizza you can order both: your pizza will be divided into two halves to satisfy your desire!
Piazza San Domenico is a nice square in the historical quarter of Villanova, take a walk through the small alleys of this zone after the dinner.

Useful infos: it’s better to reserve a table…Fantasma 1 and 2 are always crowded, especially on Saturdays!
